I'm feeling great

Surprisingly, I had not been excluded from this weekend's social activities.
I saw a dear friend, whom is going back to his home country in a few days.
Instead of having turkey on Thursday, we'd invited a ton of people over on Saturday.
He came over for dinner and we had one hell of party.
Full of relationship drama and chances to meet new people.
So that was basically the extent of my weekend.
I did a little shopping, I bought another dress.
I actually don't need any more dresses but I really love to wear them during a long day of classes.
I did try to search for a pair of boots but all the ones I wanted, either didn't fit or too expensive.
But I saw the most lustful pair of Frye boots for only 150.
I hope they are still there after the holidays.

Since I hate to post without any type of funny picture or story.
I'm sorry if I offend any fans but I've never seen the movies or read the books.

One more day

No classes today, which meant I spent the whole day home in my comfy clothes. I also absentmindedly burnt some cookies.

It was too cold to go do something. I felt lazy and I just didn't want to put on something decent. I'm obviously not going to post pictures of my lameness. I wore sweats...

I'm so ready for festivities tomorrow; which is Thanksgiving in case you don't celebrate. Nothing special, it's always the same place, same people, and same food. Nobody is a particularly great cook but the Turkey and certain dishes are delicious. I love my huge ass family. It's always fulled of people and talking.

After that it's black Friday, which I try to avoid. Well, until the afternoon because of some huge football game.

Last year, I got up at to be somewhere at 4 am and wandered around to get a computer. That was fucking hell!!!!
Seriously, I went to 4 stores by 8 am.
I passed out by the time I got home at 8:30.

Besides, I only want a pair of black boots, which I'm most likely going to buy off the internet.

So tell me what you plan on doing this holiday weekend??
Or what you are thankful for?
I really do hope you all are safe and have fun.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!

I Swear I'm Fine

I kind of hate when people say they are "fine."
Seriously, I really don't believe them and have a odd desire to figure out their true feelings.
Lately, I've been talking to random people, mostly students.
I hate being by myself. Or standing by some one and making eye contact, then you have that awkward moment. I'd swear I just to scream at them to say something, when I hear some completely random voice.

I've finally been inspired to discover more books.
I recently read "Woman Hollering Creek" by Sandra Cisneros.
Her stories are so thought-provoking and we watched her read from it; some of her stories really got me into literature.
I'm going to read her other books. I need to hit up the nearest library.

I started working on 20-25 page autobiography. (that's fucking taking me forever!) I'm debating on if I should post some stories, would anyone want to read some bits?

Here's a list of things I basically live by.

ps. I'm looking for some interesting movies, something European?
I just want to see something new.

Want, Need, Love

I tried to come up with a small wish list.
Most of these items are under 100 dollars. I really thing some these are great items that I'll used frequently. I' m really into the idea of buying sweats, especially if they are crop at the ankle and I can scrunch them up.

little old me

I'm also in need of something fun and flirty.
I'm totally in the mood to go try on a bunch of make up, wear my hair straight and to go out to some party.

I'm madly in love with the pink and purple.

I'm having a small desire for some matte pink lipstick and some peachy pink blush.
Other items that have won my heart; I'm tempted to buy a pair of Dr. Martens. For awhile I thought they were not my style, but since I see a dying trend. I'm so hoping to find a pair cheap.

I'm so going to buy this YSL makeup bag. The colors are stunning and I love the little bow pouch. I'm slowly obsessing over makeup.
My goodness, all these lovely things.

I'm Guilty

Should I be allowed to keep my cool points?

I swear I only wear these items around the house. Don't worry the shoes aren't really Uggs, I would never pay 200 for such things.

Besides I'm saving my money for Europe.
Which I might get to go for free if I can work things out with my scholarship people.
I'm really excited to see if I can go.
In case you're wondering what new, I would be staying in the city of Salamanca.
It's kind of in between Madrid and Portugal.
Best part is I get to have a three day weekend, so I can go explore Spain and maybe a few other European excursions.
Now, I need to convince my mother; that I will not die or get kidnapped for the few weeks I'll be gone.

ps. Any good ideas on cities I should visit?

A Few More Weeks Left..

Soon the semester will over. I just realize I have month of classes left. Which means that the holidays are coming up.
Sadly, all the events I have going on are very low key and casual. I'm playing around on Polyvore to get ideas.

This one is more of a what I could wear to class because I expect a harsh, cold winter.

crazyme

I'll probably make one for a holiday wishlist.

Hope you have a fun weekend!

Ah, Boring.

It's been one of those weeks. I'm going broke which means I need a job.

Nothing good is going on, which probably won't change this weekend. Why do I live in Nebraska?

Anyways, I've been scouting around the internet for a decent camera. And I still can't decide!!!
I'm the worse at making decisions but I finally enrolled for next semester. It took me forever to decide on which classes I would need to take and times were the best for me.
I swear, it's going to be easy. I have no classes on Thursday!

Mostly, I'm excited because I some how convinced myself to take an 8am yoga class for one credit hour. It's going to be fun but I've definitely not sure on what the most appropriate attire would be for the rest of my day. Firstly, I don't want to be forced to carry around a bag of clothes or look like another sweatpants wearing sorority girl. (BTW, I'm not in one).
This is very conflicting for me because I'm obviously a dressy type of person. Should I just cave in and carry around clothes or is there a way to keep my style but come prepare to participate.

Also for some laughs, one of guy friends showed me this site called Look at This Fucking Hipster.
I spitted out some of my water due to the fact so many hipsters really do take themselves so fucking seriously; especially when they look like this mofo.

I'm not friend with many hipsters but I do enjoy mocking them.
This site has brought much brighten my day.

ps. Mustaches are so icky. I don't care for facial hair on men.

I spent this past weekend feeling like such a geek, but in the good way. I let out my inner geek by attending my first Anime convention.
I know nothing about Anime but I went because I went because I was able to attend a lolita party and panels.

I went to a few J-pop panels and watched the Cosplay contest. Some characters came out and dance to I'll Make a Man out of you from Mulan. It was awesome.
At last my camera fails in semi-lit areas. (I'm waiting for when the holiday sale deals come out).

I hung out with a furry creature.

Two scary supervillains were walking around. We posed for this. One of them said they wanted to cover my face. Don't worry they were harmless; see how the Joker was eating a lollipop.

They both were carrying free hugs sign.

I didn't take many photos but I had to take a photo of him. Sadly, too many desperate girls wanted to take photos also. So I wasn't able to pose with him. (Anyone know which character he's suppose to be dressed up?)

It's all so close.

Only one more project this week!!!
I'm in a bitchy mood, because one of my partners is being a major ass. Group projects are the worse unless all the people are super cool and laid back, like my history group.
I hope when I'm working, I don't have to deal with such an egomaniac.
Oh well, I just need an A and we'll be cool.

Blah, bad outfit shots.
I'm trying people to get my new camera but my parents are not sure why I need a new. Here's the best I can do but my camera is sucking a lot. Also I think a tripod or a friend would help me because then my photos be more stable.

I'm very surprise that I was able to find this dress for only 9 dollars!!!!
I've never had a dress with peter pan collar. I love it. ♥
Also I love the floral print, I'm not big on the bright, bold florals but this seem to not be so extreme.

ps. Has any body tried Gimp instead of using Photoshop?
I'm not sure if I should download it.

I miss blogging. I'm just happy to almost be done with the semester.

I'm alive

I'm not doing so well.
Break is still going on. I have lots to show. I went shopping and bought the cutest peter pan collar dress.
I might post pictures later.
ps. I tried out a few cameras. I might by the Nikon Coolpix L100.

About Me

My photo
I'm kind of cool. I like cupcakes and all things french. If you do, we'll get along great.
