Four Kicks

I'm so ready for classes to be done. I just need some time away from Madrid. I'm planning a small weekend trip to Paris in June and maybe I'll go to Barcelona in May. I also would love to see a few other cities in Spain.

Last week, I went out with my one of my friends for a few drinks. I want to dress up a bit to impress one of the guys. I know that's a bit silly but I really like him.

I sadly only have two more months left. I'm not sure what will happen in the future, but I'm hoping for the best. Cheers for being an optimist!

Break Time!

I've never been more relieved to have one week free from classes. It's so stressful to be in a bunch of courses, and on top of that I'm not a native speaker. I'm entirely grateful to my classmates for helping me translate some subjects.

Now, I'm finding  way to save my money. I've been so bad. I bought four pairs of shoes in past two months. I'm not sure if I feel this shameful. But most of them are super comfy and practical for my daily use and wear.

I'm not a high heel fan. I do love the sexy appeal that any pair of 5 inch heels can bring to an outfit but I'm terribly clumsy to wear them all day long. Besides, running to catch the metro or bus in skirt is hard enough. I truly admire those girls that wear those sexy shoes all day long. No worries, I always bring a pair of flats in your bag, when I'm feeling adventurous and want to rock those heels.

I hope everyone has a great Easter weekend. It's so weird for me to say Semana Santa, instead of Spring Break. Ciao!

This might be the first time I've ever posted a picture of myself in florals. I know florals for spring is not original but I fucking like pastels and florals for this time of the year. Also I need to break away from the same old colors. I'm not wearing anything black!

I found one of the most perfect little parks. I went on a small excursion in my Medieval History course. This garden was built over a thousand years ago. Sadly, I can't remember the name but it was made for one of the Moor kings of Spain. But I know if you go to It's so fascinating to be in a country with such rich history and being able to walk around the city to admire the ruins. Although, you would have to leave Madrid to see more medieval ruins. Most of the them were destroy to build more recent structures during the 16th and 17th C. I get so excited, when I talk about historical places and people.

If only I had a reason

Lately, I've been in a major funk. I can't decide what to wear. I'm realizing that I having nothing but black clothes is super depressing. I did just bring clothes they were white, black or brown. I thought I could get by without a big desire to go buy things but I was wrong! Also it´s getting to be so hot around Madrid to wear black. I´m beginning to turn my back on my simple, little black dresses? We´ll just all have to wait and see.

Enjoy The Little Things

Oh, how true those words are. I'm trying to get by in Europe with very little but enjoying every single minute I'm here. I'm still in disbelief that I've been here over two months!

I've been careful with managing my money. I can easily get into my old habits of excessive spending. I'm trying to keep my mind simple. Only buying clothes and shoes every few weeks. Besides, I would much rather travel than buy a new purse.

I have done a little shopping last week. I went with a friend to buy some new tops for the warmer weather and I even purchase some jewelry. Then we found a Lush shop, I had to go in to pick up some yummy goodies.

Anyways, I'm going to visit friends outside of Madrid.
