Monday Morning

Sigh, why did spring break have to end? I'm just even more anxious for the end of semester. Don't you feel like, just passing right through all the boring stuff and straight to summer. I will always love summer. Below are just a few things I'm in love with, most are classic but a few current trends. Always finding more inspiration for this season via tumblr!

Evolve

Some days I don't like to post what I wear. I'm such a simple girl, that I try to keep my wardrobe full of all basics. My clothes are not at all like my personality though.  Now I'm starting to see the appeal of showing my personality with my evolving style. Although, I still keep into consideration the value of what I'm buying. I really want to keep this post short, so I'll just ask how every feels there style has changed over the years?

Lovely Spring

Time to celebrate the arrival of spring! It's so wonderful to wear a light layers around and not worry about my freezing my feet to near frost bite. I'm so ready to clean out my closet and put together more thrilling outfits for spring and summer. I'm also out buying new sandals and shorts for my beach vacation in May!  I still need a new beach bag and sundresses. Le Sigh,  I still have 7 more weeks until departure but I shall keep on day dreaming about sitting poolside and drinking mojitos.

Also, just a few of my favorite things right now:

1. Spa Treatments at home. I love how my skin feel after a mask treatment. I also currently love those Simple Cleansing wipes for a quick refreshment.
2. Free Coffee. These little frappucino drinks are so delightful.
3. Finding the perfect dress. My sister went shopping with me at a nearby Dillard's clearance store to find a some sweet spring clothes. She left with a gorgeous red Calvin Klein dress, as seen below. I struck out with the clothes but found two heavily discounted pairs of shoes. Only spent 28 dollars on two shoes!!
4. Speaking on shoes, I finally step outside in these glitter flats from Target. Such a great way to glam up a simple outfit for running errands.

Transitional Time

It's finally feeling like spring. I'm not one to venture out in shorts right away but I got too excited to wear this outfit. It was almost 80 on Tuesday and Wednesday.  I honestly never wear this shirt but I recently I've been loving the color and it looks so good belted, tucked in or just loosely worn outside with my boyfriend shorts. I'm not quite ready to wear sandals but expect to see lots of my studded flats.

My little dogs couldn't resist being involve in my pictures. They are so lovable and fluffy. Also finally my spring break has come and I couldn't be any happier. One whole week to spoil myself and no worries about class. I'm curious to know what you girls or guys are doing this weekend ? I have a thrift store adventure planned. I hope it's as fun as many claim. See you soon lovelies!

Tell me About It Stud...

Should I considered this just another trend? Or have studs been around so much, they would would something else? I don't know if I would call them a trend because I remember those days when studs where all over the scene.

I've always like the edginess of studs. I guess I still enjoy the heavy details even though I'm still a girlie girl. Love these flats that I found on sale at Dillard's last weekend. Such a perfect combination of metal and glam with delicate nude color. Can't wait to wear them this week!

Right One

Sigh, this week has been ridiculous. Exams, essays, quizzes! I can't wait to escape this madness. Spring break is little more than a week away. I wish I could say I'm jetting off to a glamorous resort, at last I will spending the week in Omaha. I think that's all I need, a week to clear my mind.

I would mind spending time being pampered. Last weekend, I attended a huge wedding. I swear over 500 people were in attendance at the church and reception dinner. Still, it was incredibly beautiful and classy. I  ran out to find this simple one sleeve dress and booked an appointment for that Saturday. My hairdresser took my typical messy curls and the results made me look like a completely different girl. I absolutely loved it! I wish I could have this style all the time.

Mix it.

I have a small confession. I'm not a fan of prints. I might have written about this before but trust me I won't ever feel comfortable dress head to toe in all prints. Although, I enjoy the all the new floral prints for spring and the twists on classic prints like leopard or chevron. It's feels more classic and simple.

This top is one of my favorite items from this past winter. It's typically worn with a belt and sweater over the leggings but I spent most of the day in front of computer typing an essay. Some days we have to choose comfort over style. I threw  on the silky scarf from Jason Wu for Target. I can't help but want to wear it with everything since I found it. Oh, I have so many little obsessions right now but I'll discuss those later. Thanks for reading and have a wonderful rest of the week.

February Loves

Hello lovlies, it's finally March and the days feel longer. It's been so crazy this week. I have to say that I love this semester. I've been going to the gym the past few months and I'm anxious to start running outside.
ust a few things that really made me smile or ate. I take all my food pictures on insta.gram. It's convenient and I don't get all the weird looks from other diners.
