Bye Bye GG

I'm completely sad that one of my favorite shows, Gossip Girl is over. Sure, it was confusing and had too many weird or lame plot lines.  I fell in love after the first few episodes. I'd regularly watch until the fourth season. Still there was so many reason why I turned on my TV each week. I'm not sure what I'm going to watch on Monday. I pray that the CW gives us another show.

Reasons why I will always adore GG:
  • The friendship between Blair and Serena. All their cat fights, and bitter jealously but yet they still remained close.
  •  I did mourned the loss of Jenny and cheered when whats-her-face left for good.
  • The witch hunt to find out who was Gossip Girl
  •  Blair and Chuck were my definition for an ideal power couple relationship.
  • Remembering when the girls went to Paris. Oui, oui.
  • Drooling over Nate, Dan and Chuck. I even had a thing for Dan's dad, Rufus!
  • Fashion, fassshion, fassshiionnn. I bought every headband, mini skirt and  pattern tights, that I could find after the first season.
  • Serena and her dreamy hair.
  • Blair and her addiction to bows.
  • Lastly, the amazing one liners that I still quote.

Panama Pt 1

Hello to all you lovelies!! Finally back from my trip. It's so hard to compress three weeks into one post. I want to try so hard to resist posting lots of photos all at once. So I shall share various activities over the next few posts.

One of my favorite part of Panama city was to looked up and admired all the skyscrapers and people just filled my head with inspiration. Seeing the distinction among the neighborhood and where the people needed more help made me want to do more. It's a unique city and the people are so warm and inviting. Everywhere I went I felt surrounded by family, even though most of them were not related by blood. I never say I'm a local but I never deny that I feel like I returned home. Home can feel so far away. Even right now, I wish I could be back in the tropical sun.

I found this perfect spot over looking the city and the scenery below. It's a contrast of the old and modern.
I wore a basic outfit, considering any moment the a tropical drizzle could happen. Top from Marshalls, shorts are Zara, sandals from an Indian boutique, jewelry were gifts or bought a long time ago. I'm wearing a bracelet that I will explain more about later.

Please Just Adopt Me?

Le sigh, another exciting collaboration with H&M. Anna Dello Russo is releasing a collection with H&M! I can't explain how stoked I felt after reading all around the blogging and news columns that one of my all-time favorite editors, icons, heroines, etc.
I have collected so many pictures and videos saved of ADR. Her collection of accessories is quite awe-inspiring. I wish I could invade her closet. I completely squealed when she called herself, "the guardian of fashion." Another sigh, can't wait for the month H&M release her line!

Travel Must Have

Oh goodness, my vacation is only less than three weeks away. I'm so stressed out with my finals next week. I hope I can get over my  daydreaming enough to focus and passed all my classes! Right after I finish, I swear I'm hitting the nearest mall. I'm not ashamed to admit but I will need a little retail therapy.

There are somethings I prefer I keep nearby during flights and the waiting time in the terminal. I like to keep my carry on super light; just in case I have to run to catch my gate. I've done this so many times!
I'm always cold unless it's 80 and sunny outside. So you can imagine, the minimum I need for traveling to keep warm is a casual, hard to wrinkle denim jacket and a light cotton scarf. Bring one for those cooler nights. I adore how it looks over any summer dress. It's quite similar to one below.

This is so repetitive but I need a big travel friendly bag. It's quite amazing how much an organized bag can carry. I stock up a few large pouches to store my personal items and clothes. Also a travel size wallet is so ideal to keep on hand while going through security and keep a few cards inside. Once, I have everything organized, I pick up a few magazines, notebooks and pens. Just a few ideas for those who are traveling anytime soon. Take care loves!

Bring Your Hips

I'm so hopelessly addicted to taking photos with my iPod touch. I know I've mention this over and over again.
This Labor Day weekend eneded up being a 4-day weekend for myself. No class on Tuesday! I wish I could have some trip or even a small shopping trip to brag about but I just hung out around my neighborhood. My schedule is filled with classes and homework right now. I'm just blogging right now to release some anxiety. Does anyone else do that? Now, it's time to turn back to my reality and continue reading my textbook for Spanish Lit.

ps. Do you ahve the instagram? Let's be friends.
My aunt made jello cake with cool whip frosting. I ate three pieces.
