Feast For All

Yeah, I'm back and so exhausted but Thanksgiving is this Thursday,  in the US. I'm a big fan of any day that cancels out work and school. Just so I can stay home and eat a beautiful meal with friends and family. This year, I'm planning a different tradition.

Instead of pigging out over at my grandma's house; I will spend the day with friends. I know that are currently living far from family and we want to throw our own feast. I'm searching the internet for a few recipes to try out. Thank goodness for pinterest! Just a few new ideas are below. All of them take you to my pinterest page and you can find the original links.

Tell me or, even better, send me a link to your favorite holiday dish. Thanks loves for all your kind words.

Blue Jeans

Hello dear readers, my goodness it's been a whole week. But I appreciated reading all your comments. I didn't think I would get so many. Thanks for cheering me up!  Oh, I really should be studying for midterms right now. I just have a problem focusing on one topic. Much of my time is spent is setting my books near the computer, so other people think I'm studying.

I hate being all stressed out.  I was so occupied during the weekend, studying for a math test.  I just had the chance to snap a few photos during Saturday Brunch at Lisa's Radial Cafe in Omaha. I chose their sensational Stuffed French Toast. They filled it with pumpkin and cream cheese. I shared it with a plate of Egg's Benedict's with my mom but I really didn't want to give up the second part. Also they gave me the choice of coffee or hot cocoa. I went with the hot cocoa. I love how they made it. It reminded me when my mom would give my siblings and I mugs of hot cocoa when we arrived home after school in the winter/ fall.

I hope everyone has an amazing week. Time for me to hit the books and study hard.

ahh, Dinner was so good!!

Jan. 8 Dinner

Jan. 8 Dinner

I love my parents. I live at home instead of a stinky, tiny dorm. One of the many benefits of living at home is that they are amazing cooks!!! I'm not joking they cook better then most restaurants in my area.

Tonight's meal was shrimp kabobs, with red, green, and yellow peppers, cherry tomatoes, and tiny mushrooms caps.

Here's how they look before we cook them. I didn't feel like taking pics of me eating, I was way too hungry to waste time taking pics.
