Multicolored Dreams

Remember being a child and dreaming about finding a pot of gold around the rainbow? Or if you were a 90's child you fantasized about Skittles falling from the sky.  At dinner, we all talk about seeing a rainbow for the first time.  I recalled that a young girl brought up that she has never seen one to me when I was about 12 or 13. I wonder if she ever found one.

I went downtown Omaha, to see the debut of the rainbow. It's a giant mist sprayer that reflects a rainbow over the top of the Bemis building.  Science and art coming together to become something playful and inspiring. Also you get soaking wet!  Perfect for the extreme heat, I would recommend checking it out you're coming to Omaha!

Still Shining

Summertime is time for myself. It is time for discovering. Exploring the city and to getting to know others. Perhaps, I can find a summer romance?

I sought shelter from some crappy weather last weekend at few art galleries that had free entry and stayed open later. It was quite chilly and drizzled a little bit. My friends and I walked around critiquing the art, or pretending to critique it and drinking the free wine.  I'm never quite sure if my opinion on art matters. Anyways I'm taking my time to re-watch a few french films and later who knows what I'm doing. Too many plans and invitation this weekend. C'est la vie!

In case you're wondering, I'm in the downtown area or the Old Market. Wearing: Zara blazer, Edge top via Marshalls, Vigoss Jeans, Steve Madden purse, Sam Edelman flats and jewelry from random place. I honestly need to remember these things but I never buy expensive pieces. Does anyone know how to buy jewelry? I still find more appeal in costume jewelry, than real gold or silver and precious gems.
