Old Soul, New Things

 I could go on and on about my life. Such a crazy month, I've said goodbye to lots of friends. After some pretty emotional weeks, I finally feel joyful and so blessed to have friends that have helped me  Although this week was gone from cold to warm to grey skies. It's was quite a lovely weekend. I had to get out of the house and dance around the town. Wore some beautiful jewelry I found for sale at TJ Maxx. Both pieces cost less than something at Forever 21.

Also on Friday popped into the mall to for some retail therapy. I found this bag at Dillards but it wasn't meant to be right now.

 

 Also popped into Chick-fil-a for a late evening snack. Seriously they have the best milkshakes and waffle fries.  Perfect spot to chill out before going out to the bars. 

Now let's survive another week of 2013! 

Weekend Loves

OMG! Happy weekend to everyone. I had a grand, fun weekend: dinner with friends, donuts, browsing through records and lots and lots of food.

October has proved to be quite an eventful month. I swear I can't even begin to explain my busy schedule. I'm truly feel happy to be getting outside  and doing more. My goal for the school was to gain more life experience. I see myself changing into an adult. Soon, the semester will be over and I will be officially be a college graduate. I'm so excited I could cry right now.

The firemen came because of the smoke machine: it was not allowed but we still dance and sang for the rest of the evening.

We Drink

I wanted to share with you all these pictures from Oktoberfest. . I can't deny how I adore being out with just a small group of guys. I used to hang out with a group of boys back in high school. Although, I can't say I miss the smell! Now, I found a wonderful group of friends. I just ended being the only girl that wanted to tag along to drink beer and get authentic German food.



Just being the only girl, these are my thoughts and tips on how to handle guys.
1. Don't bitch. It they want to climb a tree, wall, etc. Let them fall and then help them to the car.


2. Forget about makeup. They won't even notice a little smudging or lack of lipgloss.

3. Drink up. Please don't order anything too fruity. I always order a simple glass of wine or beer. They can't make fun of me for whatever I choose to drink.


4. Arguments are pointless. Most of the guys I hang out, we never fight. Some discussion get heated but the next day they call and want to hang out.


5. They notice details. I hate when girls complain that guys never notice silly things. Guess what, they notice they just don't know what to say. One guy, asked if I changed my hair color. It's been over two weeks and I could of snapped at him, instead I thanked him for compliment and moved on. Also look how involve they are about their beer. 


Lastly, I'm not dating any of these fine gentleman. I love them all like a brother. But who knows maybe one day, I'd get an actual date

Unbirthday

First wonderfully cool day just happened to appeared. It felt so refreshing. I even had to run back inside, just to put on a light scarf during the morning commute.

My friends took me out this weekend to celebrate my birthday. I told them about how unamused I felt about turning 22 last weekend. I finally over birthdays and the whole celebration. I gladly will accept presents. I love presents anytime!

In fact all weekend, I felt a little grumpy. It must be a combination of allergies and early stress. I need to plan a getaway for fall break next month.

1.I'm trying to be excited for my birthday. 

2. Enjoying cinnamon coffee at an outdoor concert.

3. TACOS! Not much I need to explain.

Le Sigh, I saw this beautiful confession on pinterest. I think this best describes my feelings towards love and relationships.

I'm still feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. I had a great weekend. Let's just say it involve some Shakespeare and rainbows. I'll share my pictures later this week.

Ruta de Vinos

Hola guapas!  I'm so ridiculously tired and sick from this weekend. It's so crazy to be on a bus with 50 Europeans, one Australian and a few other Americans. Seriously, people were throwing wine and water all over each other! It was basically an huge party from the time we left Madrid last Friday afternoon to when we arrived late Sunday.

Also I bought a camera. My hand is so awkwardly position in this photo. But I might as well show you some recent outfit.

My biggest complaint was the guys. Seriously, I tried talking to them as long as possible but too many just wanted to try to "hook-up." I'm definitely not into creepers. It really didn't help that I was hungover and wanted to be left alone. Luckily, I found a few non-creepers to hang out with during the whole trip. 


Anyways, my plans for this week are to completely enroll in all my classes and go out with some cute guy.

Love Between The Sheets

This weekend was all about love. Nothing can compare to joy of seeing two people becoming one. 

 I spent most of my time on the dance floor. I could anyone resist the ChaCha Slide or a Micheal Jackson song.

Also they played a lot of salsa music. I'm also one of the worst dancers but I still enjoy it. Most of the people were having just as much as me.

Sitting at the table, we were waiting for the food. I wore the black dress. It was actually more comfortable than what I thought. The day was so humid, hence the crazy hair. I don't understand why, I'd straighten it. 

I love the rock candy sticks, they had around the dessert table. Other guests said the candy for the little kids but I swipe one for myself.

I thought the tea candles were the cutest part of the table. I love DIY decorations at wedding. It adds a personal touch. Also purple flower and black lace was a beautiful combination.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Now let's try to survive the rest of this one.
