Excuse Me

HELLO! I'm not going to make some big excuse because I've been feeling like shit for weeks. I couldn't see the need to post. It's not easy for a girl to admit her weakness. I'm a coming back stronger. I've made up so many excuses to avoid accepting my responsibilities. No lies, I didn't feel like posting and sharing my thoughts of photos. I could have careless about reading outfit posts. I've realized that I'm indifferent about the blog world

Im so happy with my hair, went blonde and smells wonderful. Got it done by MJ at curb appeal in downtown.

Recently, I felt like something was missing and that I miss writing. I'm still not out of my slump but little bits of joy are coming back. I'm starting to feel more complete.

Summer started out with a new adventure, I went to Upstate New York and Brooklyn, to visit some friends. I'm still awestruck. I made a promise to myself that I will save up to go again next year.

Also I stopped by Niagara Falls, Canada. I honestly did not have high expectations for Canada but it blew me away. Once I got away from the high priced tourist locations. I could not take my eyes away from the falls. I feel more relax when I'm around nature. I possibly could of spent days exploring the area. In fact, I didn't want to go back home when the long road finished.

When I got home, I started to focus on myself by taking steps into adulthood.  Finally I found a job at the end of summer. By the way, I'm working in a school. It feels wonderful to be free from university but hopefully, I can return back to school early next year. I'm thrilled to be back!!!

Enjoy all the photos from my trips.

Explain It To Me

Good day, it's been a rather rough week. So much terror, I knew that so many people felt scared. My heart really does go out to Boston.  Also the explosion in Texas, made shocked waves.  Thankfully, we all can breathe better this weekend. Monday, is a brand new start for everyone. I'm so in awe of those that stand strong and continue to live life.

It was such a carefree and fun weekend. I'm still waiting for spring. It's been lots of rainfall and chilly nights. I've tried to put on a smile but I want to wear bright dress and sandals.

1. Finding this medium size bag at Marshalls, it was a steal and reminded me of a certain designer bag that fancy bloggers like to carry.
Things

2. Glitter tip manicure. pssh, that's not an engagement ring. I'm quite confuse as to why everyone thinks it's one, just because I like to wear it on my left hand.
Things

3. Drinking a classic Shirley Temple, I'm never too old to order one.
Things

4. Do I even need to explain? I've jumped onto the whole frozen yogurt trend.
Things

5. Discovering a new bands. I saw Nice & Pretty and Jukebox The Ghost last Friday. You all need to check them out. They sang a cover a song of "That Thing You Do."

Two Love

There some days I'm in love with winter. It hard to describe how I feel when the skies are gray and light snow is falling. Also it helps to be driven around in style. These glorious winter nights are slowly fading, last week I had small taste of spring that I even wore ballet flats.

Then this past Friday, winter reminded me that I have to wait another month for spring. It started while I was out eating with friends. Beautiful, fluffy snowflakes were falling down. It all looked magical. When leaving the restaurant we all gathered into my dream car, a small red BMW. (It's not mine, it belongs to my friend). I headed out to deal with the snow, we ate and than partied at local bar. Overall, it was such an amazing night!

Yum! Crepes for dinner. I order pork one from the newest European style restaurant called The Corner Creperie. I really enjoy the full coffee bar also. I'm always in the mood for a light vanilla latte. I'll be back again!

Now, I'm afraid I have to endure another snowmargeddon. #midwestgirlsproblems

Old Soul, New Things

I could go on and on about my life. Such a crazy month, I've said goodbye to lots of friends. After some pretty emotional weeks, I finally feel joyful and so blessed to have friends that have helped me  Although this week was gone from cold to warm to grey skies. It's was quite a lovely weekend. I had to get out of the house and dance around the town. Wore some beautiful jewelry I found for sale at TJ Maxx. Both pieces cost less than something at Forever 21.

Also on Friday popped into the mall to for some retail therapy. I found this bag at Dillards but it wasn't meant to be right now.

Also popped into Chick-fil-a for a late evening snack. Seriously they have the best milkshakes and waffle fries.  Perfect spot to chill out before going out to the bars.

Now let's survive another week of 2013!

Is It Too Late To Talk About Resolutions?

I didn't want to write about New Year resolutions since I'm constantly adding and changing what I want to do with my own life.

Accept my true self
This may be due some inseucities but I'm wanting to let go of my self doubts. I'm confident about my own abilities but like many woman I have plenty of little insecurities. This year I want to break out and become a real fierce woman. I want to be at just as the women I admire.

Master the dating scene
It's rather bizarre where I live. Most people my age are already married, engaged or in serious relationships.  I struggle with dating and I'm finally figuring out my feelings, with somebody that I adore. They have those smirks. The way they smell and talk. Nothing compares to the feeling of a guy wrapping his arm around my waist. But I honestly hate games,  brings nothing but drama and grief. I hate waiting around for nothing special. I'm not vowing to never date but I'm waiting for a specific guy to make his move. I want butterflies and have someone sweep me off my feet.

Buy a real bag
Charge it, steal it or save like nobody business I will own this Vitello Lux bow satchel bag from Miu Miu or I will gain my sanity and probably get something more reasonable from Ebay. I dream about a major high end purchase. I just dread seeing my bank statement or hearing my friends reactions.

Goals, to me, are ever changing and being fulfilled. I'll look back at this post and smile. I know I did same thing for my posts last year. Thanks dears!

Inspiration: Jan 2013

Oh may, it's another day that I can't help but want to express my emotions. It's must be something in the air. I feel little off.   I keep on dropping things and rambling on and on. I keep on wishing that winter will be over. Is it too soon to start dreaming about spring? I'm ready to start a new phase in life, both online and in reality.

I can stop thinking about where I am going. Spring will be here soon and I'm full of new ideas. Really, I appreciate everything.

Speaking of Springtime, Free People has me already day dreaming of bike rides and flowy dresses. I can't wait! Credit: free people

Same Girl, New Year

Happy 2013! Yay it's my first post for the day. Timing is always key. Reflecting on my past inspires myself to do more and be better each year. I'm not going to discuss my goals and dreams for start but instead reflect a little on myself. One of goals is live more in the moment and not worry too much about life.

I feel quite bitter to say goodbye, I'm not saying goodbye just to a wonderful year but saying 'au revoir' to some dear friends. I'm terrible at goodbyes. I cry and curse all at the same time.  It must seem that I'm exaggerating but truthfully I will be an emotional wreck. I'm trying hard not to think about them leaving soon. I'm hopefully going to over to visit my friends during the summer. Working on a few memory books for my friends. I discussed all my thoughts with a friend about the book. Some of the best gifts we can give are the ones we take time and effort to make.

Last weekend I attended a slumber party. The girls all sat around fixing up pretty cupcakes and trying out new makeup techniques. One of my friends did my makeup. I have to admit sometimes being silly is all a girl needs to better. Also spending a whole night with girls is such a great excuse to catch up. Must post my tips for any slumber party.

Thanks for reading!

Work Hard, Dream Big

I did it! After working, and studying  for 4 and half years I'm done with college. Meaning no more late night, cramming for exams, or 8 to 10 page papers. I'm nostalgic and emotional to be officially done. During the ceremony, one of graduate speakers spoke of her time. Her feelings for the future were not optimistic nor negative. Rather she rejoiced in the current achievements and looked back in her former actions. I feltr so encouraged even though my future is uncertain. I'm still a dreamer and a wanderer. Time to accept my challenges and dream even bigger. Also thanks for any encouragements and thoughts.

Blatt

Nom NOm. I'm dying to have an another try at this sort of new restaurant in Omaha called Blatt. I'm a fan of simple and they have quaintest menu. Inside is intimate seating with two giant flat screens, that guess they must have to show off to all the sports fans, especially when you're near a big baseball stadium. It's sort of the vibe where lots of college professionals and frats hang out.

I picked a few appetizers to pick at while we waited for some friends. I just adore the printed menu.

Yummy mixed appetizer with naan and deli meats and cheese.

Best Mac and Cheese in Omaha. It's quickly becoming my new favorite comfort food. I was so excited that I couldn't stop shaking the camera. My friends kept on picking at my plate. It had the cheese slightly burnt crucnhy on the side and the pasta cooked so perfectly.

Next time, that I'm near the area. I'll pop inside for a cold drink and a bowl of cheesy goodness. Thanks for reading darlings!

ps. What's your comfort food of choice? Let's not forget to indulge your senses every once in awhile.

Road Trip Inspiration

Where do you go when you want to getaway? I'm planning a small road trip to a few states next weekend. I need to satisfy my wanderlust. my friends and I  will be the road for 15 hours towards Ohio. I'm personally planning on bringing comfy sweats and a few games to play. Also looking for a few random places to stop this list includes many diners and ice cream places. Now I have to go back to writing. I have three papers due next Wednesday!

Meow Meow

Hello Cat Ladies! It must be time for small update but I have way too many things I want to share about my fall break and it's not quite over! I went to see Motion City Soundtrack, Jukebox The Ghost and Now Now.  All of them played in the Slowdown, near downtown Omaha. It's one of my favorite places to see bands play live.  Afterwards, I hung out with some boys and the band members. I'm not going to lie but the piano player is quite the charmer. I become such flirtacious girl when musicians talk to me. I wish I got their number.

I don't even own a cat but I adore all furry animals. T shirt was sold by Now Now. It was so cute and they told the crowd how Meow Meow is a code name for drugs in the K. Such a clever way to promote the sales. I even got a few records.

Weekend Loves

OMG! Happy weekend to everyone. I had a grand, fun weekend: dinner with friends, donuts, browsing through records and lots and lots of food.

October has proved to be quite an eventful month. I swear I can't even begin to explain my busy schedule. I'm truly feel happy to be getting outside  and doing more. My goal for the school was to gain more life experience. I see myself changing into an adult. Soon, the semester will be over and I will be officially be a college graduate. I'm so excited I could cry right now.

Party at my friend's apartment. Do you like my hoodie?

One Day

Sigh, I'm such a fan girl right now. All my favorite TV shows are coming back for new seasons. It's turning into fall and all I want to buy are long oversize sweaters to wear with everything. Also I just keep on stalking style.com for London Fashion Week. It's my own personal escape. I love London designers and their aesthetics. I wish I could be standing in a little corner gasping at all the models walking and trying not to freak out over some random blogger or celebrity that I spotted sitting down next to a editor.

Now back to my reality. I don't deny that I drink lots of Starbucks or coffee in general.  I have to include lots of pictures from inst.gram of my favorite treats and amusements.  I adore these small square photos. Even if they are not the most glamorous, these are real.

Love you all so much for reading!
