My weekend was fabulous! I ventured outside of my small community into the country side of Nebraska. My family has a tradition of picking apples during The Apple Festival in Nebraska City. I feel like such a little kid going outside, walking around the historic farms, and eating caramel apples. It's feels like Disneyland.
The overcast sky made it feel deary but still we made the most of the day.
We drove over an hour through the thick golden fields. It's such a stereotype of my state but people are proud of being from the Cornhusker state.Besides look how lovely are those wild flowers. I did buy lots of cider and apples. It's such a perfect treat for the cooler nights.
My week is going to be so crazy. I have to work on projects and I have a small road trip up to North Dakota. Once again thanks for reading.
