Ever feel like something is pull you around and won't let you go on with life. Sometimes I think about my problems but than I realize they seem meaningless when we widen our view.  I examine future prospects and  try to become more understanding and practice patience.

I'm not one to be shy about the type of food I enjoy and it helps to have wonderful company. On Saturday, I had to check out this spot called Twisted Fork. My group ordered lots of appetizers and fruity cocktails. The best things, was the mushroom dip and chicken fried bacon. Yeah, it's deep fried bacon served with a side of gravy. It's even better than I expected. Enjoy all the food porn! *drools*







I'm never really in front of a computer since I've finished school. I went out of town and now I'm going to New York at the end of the month! I've never been so give me a few tips for a first timer. Thanks!

Explain It To Me

Good day, it's been a rather rough week. So much terror, I knew that so many people felt scared. My heart really does go out to Boston.  Also the explosion in Texas, made shocked waves.  Thankfully, we all can breathe better this weekend. Monday, is a brand new start for everyone. I'm so in awe of those that stand strong and continue to live life.

It was such a carefree and fun weekend. I'm still waiting for spring. It's been lots of rainfall and chilly nights. I've tried to put on a smile but I want to wear bright dress and sandals.

1. Finding this medium size bag at Marshalls, it was a steal and reminded me of a certain designer bag that fancy bloggers like to carry.


2. Glitter tip manicure. pssh, that's not an engagement ring. I'm quite confuse as to why everyone thinks it's one, just because I like to wear it on my left hand.


3. Drinking a classic Shirley Temple, I'm never too old to order one.


4. Do I even need to explain? I've jumped onto the whole frozen yogurt trend.


5. Discovering a new bands. I saw Nice & Pretty and Jukebox The Ghost last Friday. You all need to check them out. They sang a cover a song of "That Thing You Do."

Lookin Pretty

Call me vain but I put lots of effort getting ready every morning. A typical beauty routine is simple but requires more than splashing water. Although I envy the type of girl that looks stunning without an once of makeup.

I'm slightly obsessed with skincare. I have major issues with acne, it's hard to describe. I have a mixture of oily and dry skin. Recently I started to notice a clearer face.

Last weekend, I freaked out when I ran out of moisturizer. Marshall's is conveniently close to my house. I love the selection  and the price is way cheaper. I check out all the products, I buy just make sure they are unopened and in the original packaging.  Besides skincare, I'm also looking out for a better eyeliner. I found a liquid one that I love, but have yet to find an excellent eyeliner. Maybe I'll be lucky with this one from L'Oreal. Also I needed a small pocket mirror. This one below is quite intense but perfect for those midday touch ups. Lastly, I found a bottle of OPI Nail Envy. Bought it so I can test it, because my nails are weak and break easily.

ps. Bought all the products with my own money. 

Louder Than Ever

Sometimes I forget I have a blog.  I know many bloggers always have an excuse for lack of updates.  I come back home after a long day, all I want to do is drink some wine and not worrying about catching up on this blog. It felt so wonderful to step away from my laptop. So what can one girl do while avoiding the inevitable. Is it wrong to admit that I spend way too much time on tumblr? Should I stop accepting invites to eat sushi or grab a drink with my friends? Not happening! I know I need to find a way to balance social media and my priorities.

Anyways... Here's a few snapshots during the last month.
1. Checking out some new art galleries. Most have free wine and I get to pretend I know what I'm talking about. But I love this piece I found at a Starbucks.


2. Sushi Dinner Dates, if only I could get a second date...



3. Late Nights... Give me a bottle of Framboise or hard cider. Sitting in a cozy place with little tea lights. Running in high heels to catch up with my friends. Finding a late nigh bite to relax after a few drinks.


Lastly, I'm starting figure out what I love to write about. I'm considering doing a series of about me articles or even writing a few opinion pieces.

I'm constantly hoping each morning that today will be the end of winter. Just longing to take off all the layers and be simple. Nothing extreme. Feel all the sun and enjoy the longer days. XOXO

Paris Fashion Week Lusts

Oh hey everyone, I kind of felt a little disheartened and sadden by recent events. I wasn't feeling alright. I felt like someone tore out my heart and I'm losing a reason to blog and write.  Now let's stop before I become too personal, but I'm doing better.

Beauty Faves: Feb 2013

Let me start and declare hat I'm no way transforming my blog into sort beauty platform or that I'm a know-it-all guru. I'm a true lipstick/ lipgloss hoarder. I'll admit that I have many and I love them all. However, I keep the same basic face routine: foundation, light rosy cheeks and a cat eye. I don't feel a need to go into details because there are so many amazing tutorials on youtube on how to apply makeup.

Right now, I'm really into dark nails and bright, cheerful pink lips. Some of my favorite lipsticks varied from high end cosmetics to bargain brands from the nearby drugstore. I would choose a pink shade over red. I honestly only have two red lipsticks, which is very little compare the 10 or more pink lip products I own right now. Is there a lip color you prefer?

In order, Wet'N'Wild Dollhouse Pink, (matte bluish pink), MAC Girl About Town, (creamy bluish pink), Revlon Fuchsia (Creamy blue pink with purple undertones). I found the one from Revlon over a year ago, not sure if they still have it for sale. Also it's similar to Girl About Town but I personally prefer the texture and lasting power of MAC. ps. Save your MAC containers. I got Girl About Town for free since I saved enough to for Back2Mac.
