Beauty in The Country

As much, as I proclaim my love for the city, deep down I will always be a true country girl. Georgia is by far one of the prettiest rural areas I've ever visited. It also helps that the people and the places have a genuine character. No shopping, instead I ate at some fantastic cheap restaurants with my friends around the Atlanta area. I went down for a small convention. I had a great time driving around the different small towns. I begged to see big plantation but there were not nearby my hotel.

I had the best time away. I'm starting to get a feel for different cities and lifestyles right now. Perhaps I move will be best for me. I guess the more cities I go to the more I realize how I feel about Omaha. If you have made big move to another state or city, how did you finally realize it was time?

PS. I had one of the best margaritas ever down in small Conyers, GA. Also that necklace was passed on to me from one my great-aunts. Sigh, until next time dears!

Right Now

Does this make me sound shallow? I had a conversation with a friend over the weekend about things we would buy. I went home and immediately made a small collage of the items I was fawning over.
Sigh, I've been lusting over a few of these items over the past few months. I'm dying to get a new bag from Zara and a few neon collared necklaces. I'm so obsessed with accessories that are unique and beautiful because I love how they transform any outfit into something unique.

We also discussed recent events and certain people in our lives. The start of the Euro 2012, distracted me from any drama. I spent all Sunday at home watching Spain vs. Italy. Time to break out the team jersey and check the local soccer(football) pub. I like to show off to the guys that I actually know what is going on during the match. Who will you be cheering for this summer? I'm supporting Spain! 

Monday Morning

Sigh, why did spring break have to end? I'm just even more anxious for the end of semester. Don't you feel like, just passing right through all the boring stuff and straight to summer. If only I had a reason

Lately, I've been in a major funk. I can't decide what to wear. I'm realizing that I having nothing but black clothes is super depressing. I did just bring clothes they were white, black or brown. I thought I could get by without a big desire to go buy things but I was wrong! Also it´s getting to be so hot around Madrid to wear black. I´m beginning to turn my back on my simple, little black dresses? We´ll just all have to wait and see.

I hope you all have a lovely week. I have so new language courses this week but soon it will be Semana Santa (Spring Break) and I will have a few days off!I hope to go to Barcelona but I need a travel buddy.  Do you have plans to travel? 

Head Wrap

I have to admit something. I'm addicted to head wear. I buy about 2-3 headbands a month. A hat every few weeks and have quite the collection of silky scarves.

But I need to know, just how does one wrap a scarf like the lovely Joana?

Oh Scott, you know just how to make girl even more excited for spring.

I'm so freaking tired of snow; I dream about flowing skirts moving about on the first day the sun begins to shines. I know spring is in the air, when I see flocks of sorority gals dressed in minis and gladiator sandals or flip flops.

I even have a similar orange red color dress, that mocks me whenever I open the closet to grab a jacket.

I thought how next year I shall be living outside the country, as I waddle over death traps of pure ice. Nearly falling a few times!

Anyways, I should not be up so late. I'm going to be in so much trouble with my morning lecture.
