Pretty in Prabal

My sister must be so sick of hearing my sighs while I'mg staring at the computer. It's almost unavoidable that I would fall in love with another Target collaboration. Looking at this whole Prabal Gurung collection that's coming out next month. All I can say is that it's lovely! I could see myself twirling around one of these dresses. Thank goodness spring is coming soon and all these outfits could be potential inspirtation for all the incredible event and parties in the spring and summer.

Just pulled a copy of my favorite looks from the official lookbook.  Also the shoes collection is full of color and simple enough to style with anything. I have a feeling these red sandals will be mine!

Happy 2012

So many beautiful memories come to mind when I think about 2012. Right now, I'm feeling blessed and happy. I had a small but happy holiday week. It was a simple day. I love all the holiday movies. It's a tradition to go to the movies. My mom and I were dying to see Les Miserables. It was so worth all the hype.

I'm not going to post details of what I got but I did spoiled myself with some money I received. I adore post-holiday sales. I'm waiting for January when all the boots and coats go on sale. I truly enjoy the thrill of finding an item that I waited patiently to buy. Sometimes, I even buy little trinkets for friends or myself that I will enjoy looking at inside my bedroom. I'm attracted to pretty little things, which makes me a compulsive shopper. I go to a store for one small thing and leave with ten. I'm going to work on controlling my spending next year.

Love It, Give Me

Please please! Loving all things sparkly and new. I've been wanting a new laptop, preferably a Macbook Air. I'm not lusting over too many big ticket items. I think it's tacky to pile of list of unrealistic items.

I adore large totes for carrying daily supplies to and from work. Clare Vivier makes some of my favorites totes. My biggest desire for next year is build a jewelry collection, which will hopefully start once I find a better job.

I added to the list a few fun items, such a cute small camera. I love the Nikon J1 but I might get something else, before the ceremony and a fun pair of shoes to wear with the long robe. Time to start dropping hints to my parents and friends.

Were You Followed

Just last week, I finally saw Moonrise Kingdom. I could go on forever about how much I adore Wes Anderson. I think it goes back a few years, since I first saw The Royal's Tenenbaums. The whole movie I felt torn between the romance of Suzy Bishop and Sam Shakusky. I won't spoil the movie but it's an absolute must see this summer.

Also this whole week I wish I could be 12 again. Le Sigh, Suzy wardrobe was so utterly perfect. She wore the most beautiful shade of pink and others pastels. Right now I'm feeling so inspired to put my own twist. I imagine myself, just wandering the woods , finding the perfect spot and building a wonderland retreat from the city.  I might be tempted  to runaway for a few days.

Make A Wish!

11-11-11 is today! I love the chance to make a thoughtful and inspiring wish today. I don't plan on sharing my big wish right away but who knows it might come true!

Pardon Me

Can we all discuss how fucking gorgeous is Blake Lively? Every time I see this picture I can't help but swoon over her lovely golden locks. I can't tell you how much I've been contemplating going a bit extreme and bleaching my hair blond. Oh, I'm so indecisive that I'm not sure what to do with my hair. It's getting so long.

Anyways, I'll post soonish once I get my hair cut.

Head Wrap

I have to admit something. I'm addicted to head wear. I buy about 2-3 headbands a month. A hat every few weeks and have quite the collection of silky scarves.

But I need to know, just how does one wrap a scarf like the lovely Joana?

Oh Scott, you know just how to make girl even more excited for spring.

I'm so freaking tired of snow; I dream about flowing skirts moving about on the first day the sun begins to shines. I know spring is in the air, when I see flocks of sorority gals dressed in minis and gladiator sandals or flip flops.

I even have a similar orange red color dress, that mocks me whenever I open the closet to grab a jacket.

I thought how next year I shall be living outside the country, as I waddle over death traps of pure ice. Nearly falling a few times!

Anyways, I should not be up so late. I'm going to be in so much trouble with my morning lecture.
